A little bit about us..
Clinic owners, Allen and Rhonda Burt
Allen and Rhonda Burt are licensed, board certified Reflexologists
based in Chicago's south suburbs. With advanced training in several
Holistic disciplines. They offer Reflexology, Oriental and Occidental
Acupressure, Lymphatic Stimulation, Naturopathy and Nutritional
Counseling/Healing in therapy.
Rhonda was a midwife and home health nurse before joining her
husband in Crete, where they have been in practice for over 20
years. They work in conjunction with area physicians and their
patients in acknowledged programs of stress management,
utilizing the most advanced relaxation techniques and therapies.
In addition, Allen teaches Reflexology to medical professionals and
lectures for health organizations and Universities around the country.
The Burt's have addressed audiences on this subject for the National
Health Federation, The American Cancer Society and were recently
called upon to demonstrate the ofttimes life-changing effectiveness
of Reflexology at the White House in our Nations Capitol. They have
instructed and taught Holistic awareness locally in hospitals and
health care clinics, on military bases, senior retirement centers, and in
civic, church and community organizations. They combine preventive
ideology and therapeutic modalities and apply them in a practical
way to give patients an opportunity to learn how to heal themselves
and reclaim their wellness.
At Fort Hood with one of the wonderful servicemen who was patient and interested
enough to learn a little about Reflexology. We heard from him later on... he was
helping several of his fellow servicemen get rid of their back and head aches with
some of the pressure point techniques he learned. He was also trying to teach
them how to work on themselves so they would not have to rely, as much, on
pharmaceuticals and pain medications.
